Find your heart with the first-ever Kingdom Hearts orchestra concert

Video games have some of the most amazing music out there. Not all people would think that because there is a stigma attached to video games but it is true. One video game that proves this point is Kingdom Hearts. Just like in any movie or TV show, music adds to the overall experience. It helps to frame each scene by enhancing it to give it an emotion that fits the tone of the situation.

The music in Kingdom Hearts is special because it does just that. The game’s composer, Yoko Shimomura, created a stunning sound track that has resonated with the game’s fanbase. One does not have to have delve deeply into the game to find a piece of music that is powerful. Listen to the song Dearly Beloved as it appears in Kingdom Hearts II.

This song has a simple piano melody that serves as the overall motif in this piece. However, Shimomura juxtaposes the piano with a minimal sounding orchestral backing which creates a piece of music that is powerful, haunting, and beautiful. Songs like this are the reason why fans have such fervor and attachment with this music.

For the fans who love the gorgeous music of Kingdom Hearts, the first official symphonic concert is set to enchant the world in 2017 with the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra -World Tour-. The world tour will commemorate the 15th anniversary of the series and celebrate over eight games worth of music by Yoko Shimomura. World class professional orchestras will perform a selection of the best and most beloved music from the entire series, delivering an experience that cannot be missed.

“I am confident that what we’ve created will touch the hearts of our beloved fans everywhere,” said Kingdom Hearts series director Tetsuya Nomura, in his special message to fans following the announcement of the orchestra tour. “I hope the excitement and joy they get from the experience will only increase their anticipation for the release of KINGDOM HEARTS III.”

World class professional orchestra, such as the Tokyo Philarmonic Orchestra in Japan, will perform a selection of the best and most beloved music from the original soundtrack of the whole saga. Tickets for Paris, London, Singapore, and New York can already be purchased on the official Wildfaery website, while tickets for the Los Angeles show can be purchased from Ticketmaster starting this Saturday on May 14th at 12pm Pacific Time.
