Get your tickets to experience “Indiana Jones” with live music from the Pacific Symphony

What comes to mind when you hear the Indiana Jones theme song? Action? Adventure?

The theme is so iconic that I bet you could hum it to yourself right now!

It’s thanks to none other than John Williams, renowned composer of iconic themes like those from Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Jaws, that the Indiana Jones theme continues to get stuck in our heads long after Raiders of the Lost Ark aired in 1981.

It’s been 35 years since Raiders of the Lost Ark introduced us to Indy, and to celebrate the Pacific Symphony is putting on a spectacular show: a full-length film showing with music performed live!

“I’m especially delighted that the magnificent Pacific Symphony has agreed to perform the music in a live presentation of the movie,” says John Williams of this event. “I know I speak for everyone connected with the making of the ‘Raiders’ in saying that we are greatly honored by this event… and I hope that the audience will experience some measure of the joy and fun we did when making the film 35 years ago.”

Conducting the Symphony during this memorable event will be Maestro Kitsopoulos, who has conducted at amazing venues like Carnegie Hall and Royal Albert Hall. Under his direction, the Symphony will take you back 35 years, to experience the magic of Raiders of the Lost Ark live and in person.

The event is happening this Saturday, August 13, at the Irvine Meadows Ampitheatre, with tickets ranging from $25-$108. Tickets (and delicious catering options!) are still available, so be sure to grab your tickets now either online or by calling (714) 755-5799.
