“Girl Meets World” Gets Full Season on Disney Channel

That’s right. Going against the typical model, “Girl Meets World“, the reboot of the classic TV show that last aired 14 years ago, has been given a full season. Take a look at the video interview between stars Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel on the set –

Typically, TV shows tape a few episodes then air them to see if there’s any interest before making a decision on whether or not to continue the show at all. Since the announcement was made that the show was approved by Disney back in December 2012, the buzz and excitement for the show hasn’t slowed down. As a result, you can expect a full season with a full story of Cory, Topanga, and family in 21 episodes.

“Girl Meets World” is currently filming in California and is set to have its series premiere later this year.
