Go behind the scenes of “Moana” in a special Ron Clements and John Musker interview

Moana premieres today and will open in theaters on November 23rd! The excitement for this newest Disney movie is at its peak, and everyone is dying to know more about the movie. We were lucky enough to sit down and host a Ron Clements and John Musker interview livestream over Facebook about a month ago, and we’re happy to share our talk about Moana, creative writing, and fun easter eggs with you today!

Ron Clements and John Musker are famous for creating Disney classics like The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and The Princess and the Frog, so of course we asked them to tell us more about their writing process and how they were able to create such timeless films. Moana is their first Disney movie in over 5 years, so of course we asked them more about how their idea for the movie born, how it might fit in with other Disney movies, and of course what references to other films we might see in the film (hint: maybe a snowman?).
