Here are the Disney nominees for the 2014 Oscars

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (the folks who host the Oscars) announced their 2014 nominees. The Walt Disney Company once again received a few nods from The Academy that included:

  • “Frozen” Chris Buck, Jennifer Lee and Peter Del Vecho – Best Animated Feature Film of the Year

  • “Get a Horse!” Lauren MacMullan and Dorothy McKim – Best Animated Short Film of the Year

  • “The Lone Ranger” Joel Harlow and Gloria Pasqua-Casny – Achievement in Makeup and Hairstyling

  • “Saving Mr. Banks” Thomas Newman – Achievement in Music written for Motion Pictures (Original Score)

  • “Let It Go” from “Frozen” with Music and Lyric by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez – Achievement in Music written for Motion Pictures (Original Song)
