Here are the Disney nominees for the 2016 Oscars
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences had everyone up early again this year to announce this year’s Oscar nominees. Once again, some of The Walt Disney Company’s 2015 films were nominated and nominated multiple times!
“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” was one of those films that were nominated five times including for John Williams’ Best Original Score (his 50th Oscar nomination!). Pixar’s “Inside Out” was nominated twice, including for Best Original Screenplay – a feat that is usually given to live-action films.
The full list of Disney Oscar nominees is below.
We’ll find out who takes home Oscar gold when the 88th Academy Awards takes place on Sunday, February 28, 2016, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood, CA. If you aren’t invited to the actual ceremony, you can watch it live on the ABC Television Network at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT.
