Introducing the DisneyExaminer Music Sessions [GianCarlo: “When You Wish Upon A Star”]

We like to call DisneyExaminer a “magazine”, meaning we like to have a variety of content available to all of you. From breaking Disney news to more thoughtful editorial articles and even some fun social media posts, we think we’ve been able to provide that closer look at Disney through it all.

Still, we know there’s more that we can do to inform and entertain you all, so we’re happy to introduce the DisneyExaminer Music Sessions.

We all interpret Disney culture differently, so we wanted to explore that idea musically with live performances of some of your favorite Disney songs.

It’s actually something we started with our good friend and NBC’s “The Voice” artist Tini Grey. The popularity of that series led us to create this new session that looks to do the same with more talented artists. We will be sharing a new artist each month and feature their own cover of some of their favorite Disney songs.

Some artists you’ll know and some you might not, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take a listen to these very talented voices!

First up, GianCarlo, a 19-year-old student from Orange County, California, shares his smooth and soulful rendition of the Disney classic “When You Wish Upon a Star.”
