Gaga & Muppets Give Thanks Together.

The holidays always are a time for us to gather together around food and if not a fireplace, then certainly a TV! With that in mind, television content producers are always giddy when it comes to this time of year too because they know that you and your family will be indeed watching so it’s only fitting that TV specials are created just for your viewing pleasure!

Specifically for ABC, we’ve seen that played out already with Pixar’s first television special made for Halloween in “Toy Story of TERROR” airing just a few days ago to wild acclaim. On the heels of that success, ABC has announced that another TV special is in the works for the next holiday Thanksgiving and will feature two unique giants in the entertainment industry. Lady Gaga and Jim Henson’s Muppets will come together for their own 90-minute TV special on Thanksgiving night.

“Lady Gaga & The Muppets’ Holiday Spectacular” will feature the superstar singer and comedic puppets in an epic twist on a classic holiday variety show with classic holiday and Gaga songs. Celebrities like Sir Elton John, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Kristen Bell, and other Muppet friends will also make appearances in the special as well.

“What an incredible opportunity! We have a long history with Ms. Gaga, so we jumped at the chance to do a holiday special with her. We won’t even mind if she mistakes some of the Muppets for pieces of her wardrobe—again.” Kermit said after news broke of the special.

From what information has been released so far, we’re certain that this holiday TV special isn’t to be missed, so be sure to tune into ABC with your family on Thanksgiving night, November 28 from 6:30-8 PM PST to get you “gaga” for the holidays!
