Lenovo’s Jedi Challenges is the augmented reality toy you need this Christmas

Have you ever wanted to be in a lightsaber battle? Perhaps with your favorite Star Wars villain? Or maybe you’d want to play holochess?

If you’re me, a big Star Wars fan, you’ll want to make sure you pick up the newest “toy” from our friends at Lenovo. Star Wars: Jedi Challenges is a new augmented reality packaged experience that allows you to be in a “real” lightsaber duel with the likes of Kylo Ren and other villains of the galaxy far, far away.

Additionally, other challenges that are included in the system include the ability to play a real game of holochess as seen in “A New Hope.” Lenovo also included another challenge that makes you the commander of a galactic army in a very fun battle strategy game.

Until someone makes the real thing, the Star Wars world and being a Jedi becomes real with the help of your smartphone and some pretty cool technology.
