Let The Price Hikes Begin
Disneyland has long standing traditions, but this tradition is not the tradition that all are fond of.
Yesterday evening, Disneyland announced that ticket and annual passholder prices would be increased to a new all-time high. This is the second time in less than a year that they have done this, hence the “tradition.” The new ticket prices, which we’ve listed below, will be put into effect on May 20…yes, tomorrow.

Deluxe, Southern California, and Southern California Select Passport holders can add parking for an additional $129 per year…yes, also increased.

The admission price increases range from a $7 increase for a 1-day, 1-park ticket to a $150 increase for the Premium Annual Passport.
Now we understand that the economy and business needs reflect the admission price increases, but now we’re left with the feeling that prices will continue to increase unendingly. Disney tried to offset this sad news with happy news that included a repeat of all that is going to happen this summer with Cars Land and Buena Vista Street, as well as the Annual Passholder perks coming this summer as well.
Although “the Happiest Place on Earth just got happier,” many tourists and locals alike will sure have a frown on their faces this summer.

What do you think about the price hikes? Do you think its necessary? Will you still get your annual passport or tickets directly from Disney or will you look for better deals elsewhere?
