Lets All Scream For Ice Cream (and the other spaces on Main Street USA)!

Summer is just around the corner, folks! If you can’t tell by the awkward Southern California weather, you can certainly tell by when a favorite little ice cream shop opens back up on Main Street USA at Disneyland Park!

After a semi-long refurbishment, we’re happy to announce that the Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor will reopen just in time for those hot days at Disneyland.

Set to open up on Wednesday, May 2, the renovated Gibson Girl will feature more work space and more registers which will allow guests to buy their creamy treats in less time. This place can get busy even in the cold of winter, so we’re glad they’ll be utilizing these improvements to make things quicker.

Inside, guests will still be able to enjoy their treats, including the new ice cream floats in the air conditioned seating area that will feature new decorative elements that fit the rest of the Main Street decor.

In addition to the Gibson Girl reopening, the spaces that flanking it that house the Penny Arcade and the Candy Palace will reopen the same day with some new touches on the inside as well.

We’re excited to have Main Street back in full operating mode with all the spaces open for business and even more excited to try out the Coca-Cola ice cream floats! What will you have?
