Mickey’s Spooktacular.

We know that a lot of you have a lot of traditions that you all do on Halloween. Whether it be taking your kids (or yourself) Trick-or-Treating or handing out candy, that’s great and all, but have you ever thought about changing it up a bit?

We did and we were meet with an opportunity that we couldn’t pass up – Trick-or-Treating at Disneyland! Say…WHAT?!

Yes, folks. We did say “What?!” and with that, we just had to experience it ourselves. A couple weeks ago, Mike and myself went to attend one of the first nights of Mickey’s Halloween Party – a separate ticketed event after Disneyland Park’s regular operating hours that gives guests a treat…several treats in fact!

It was a great night of Trick-or-Treating with a costume through the Park at candy stations in some awesome decked out places, premium kinds of Candy (no cheap stuff here, folks!), and the being able to view some of the special Halloween-only entertainment offerings like ‘Halloween Screams’ fireworks show and Mickey’s Costume Cavalcade. You’ll also find some special special party-only surprises around the Park as well like the ‘Cadaver Dans’ and special photo op spots set up with some of your favorite Disney characters.

To sum the whole experience up, we’d have to say that it at least has to be done once.  For the DE team, it was a welcome surprise to a what was going to be another regular Halloween for us. For your whole family, you might just find that the Happiest Place on Earth can be appealing to the whole family with just a little spook!
