Motor Music (Continued) – Syncing The Sounds Of Radiator Springs Racers

We already told you that the attention to detail in Cars Land is intense. Not only is that attention to details seen in the visual scenery, but also in what you hear!

Specifically we’re talking about the soundtrack that accompanies you as you ride Radiator Springs Racers. Just like a movie, its soundtrack must be able to sync perfectly with the story and even the actors and actressess’ mouths. Since the ride vehicle itself is basically a rolling movie theater, it needs a synced soundtrack! And how do they do that, you ask? By hand.

Take a look at the video below to see Imagineer Joe Herrington syncs the soundtrack to Radiator Springs Racers by actually riding the attraction. What a cool job, huh?! It took over 700+ rides since March 2012 to perfect the sync of sound and we cannot wait to hear and see it all in person during the grand opening of Cars Land that will mark the beginning of our coverage of the grand re-opening of Disney California Adventure!
