Motor Music – The Music of Cars Land

I (Jordie) am a BIG music fan. I like good music and I know that Disney puts out some great music! I find that some of my most favorite music comes not from records or CDs too much, but from the area music loops that play as you go about having fun at Disneyland.

They’re not meant to be noticed all too much, but I love the instrumentals and the musicianship that gets put behind it.

Take a look at this video showing us some in-studio work by Billy Hill and the Hillbillies recording tracks for a portion of the area loop that will be playing in Cars Land. Imagineers believe that music is part of the storytelling and I’ll tell you, this story will be good because the music will be good too.
