My Dream Disney Channel BFF

The Disney Channel housed some of the most memorable female characters seen on network television. They were funny, witty, talented, smart, and some even had powers. You could totally relate to them, and you wanted to be them. Here are some original female Disney Channel characters that would make great BFFs.

SONNY MUNROE

Sonny Munroe was the small-town girl who had a sunny personality. She was eccentric, quirky, and had a wildly talented singing voice. As she became a rising star on the sketch comedy series, So Random!, she was still the same girl from Appleton, Wisconsin. She worked hard to become a great comedian, and tried to have everyone get along with each other. She was the BFF that you would kill to sing a duet with.

If you needed someone to think of a solution to get you out of a sticky situation, Maddie Fitzgerald was the girl to help out. Maddie from The Suite Life of Zack & Cody was the candy counter girl, but don’t let the title fool you. Maddie was a hard worker, an A-student, and an avid humanitarian who spoke her mind. Every girl needed a best friend who was passionate about a certain issue, and who was hopeful in making a difference. If you had Maddie Fitzpatrick as a BFF, you were sure to contribute in making the world a better place.

As Maddie Fitzpatrick held the title of the brainy, candy counter girl at the Tipton, Miss London Tipton was the princess who owned the hotel. She was the complete polar opposite of Maddie. Though she came off as a spoiled brat who wasn’t the brightest crayon in the coloring box, at the end of the day she was a great person to be around. She was funny, cared about her friends, and did whatever she wanted to do. Everyone needed that BFF who was carefree. It wasn’t so shabby that she had a walk-in closet filled with clothes that you could have tried on and borrowed!

HANNAH MONTANA aka MILEY STEWART

Here you have a two-in-one BFF. If you didn’t know who Hannah Montana was, then you have literally been living under a rock. Miley Stewart a.k.a. Hannah Montana was just your average girl living a double life as a famous pop star. Being best friends with her would get you into big events and the VIP lounge. But aside from the stardom Miley was just an overall loyal friend. She never forgot who she really was and the people who were the most important to her. By having her as a BFF you really did get the “Best of Both Worlds.”

When you meet a BFF, it’s just pure magic. You get each other’s humor, you can count on one another, and you become family. Being BFFs with Alex Russo would literally consist of magic. Alex was spunky, laid back, and a bit of a troublemaker. Though some of the situations she would get you in would give you a heart attack, the one thing that would be great about being best friends with her were the adventures that she would take you on in the magical realm and human world. If you had a wizard as a BFF you would be living life on the edge.

Every girl needed that grounded friend and Ren Stevens was the girl that fit the bill. She was the organized, responsible, and an over-achiever student that you were in awe of. She wasn’t afraid to be the best she could be, and didn’t dumb herself down to impress anybody. Ren was the BFF that you could rely on. She was the one that you would call for if you were in trouble and needed help.

This was the original “girl next door” featured on Disney Channel. Elizabeth Brooke McGuire was the best friend that anybody would be lucky to have. She was a normal teenager who was trying to survive the every day feats of growing up. Lizzie was shy, clumsy, and the person that any adolescent girl saw themselves in. She wasn’t part of the popular crowd, but she was always there for her friends and always ended up doing the right thing.

RAVEN BAXTER

Raven Baxter was the best BFF you could ever have. She was one of the funniest, quick-witted, caring people you would ever meet. To top all of that, she had the power to see into the future. Her sassy personality, hilarious disguises, and memorable catchphrases like, “Oh, Snap!,” made every day something to talk about. Along with getting into some problematic situations due to her psychic powers, she was also a fashion designer that made incredible outfits. She was the BFF that you wanted in your past, present, and future!

BFF isn’t a term to take lightly. To be a true BFF you need to earn the title. BFFs make each other laugh, go on adventures together, bring out the best in each other, and most importantly are there for one another. While we can’t technically have these Disney Channel characters be our real BFF, having an actual one and being one in return is just as good, maybe even better!
