Neil Patrick Harris to host new ‘World of Color’ show for Disneyland’s 60th Anniversary

Fresh off his duties of hosting the Oscars, Neil Patrick Harris was announced as host of the all-new version of the nighttime spectacular at Disney California Adventure Park.

“World of Color – Celebrate! The Wonderful World of Walt Disney” will have an entirely new storyline that will tell the story of Disneyland through Walt Disney’s eyes. Alongside Mickey who will “host”, Harris will also do so, but today’s announcement came with no details on how he’ll be a part of the show.

Neil isn’t new to Disney Parks. He’s an avid fan of them and can be heard counting down the launch of each screamer-filled train at the California Screamin’ attraction.

Harris and the new show will debut on May 22, 2015.
