Netflix’s own “Avengers” got its first teaser trailer

While Marvel Studios is still riding the wave of success with their “Avengers” franchise films, Marvel Television’s own “Avengers” series is set to debut.

Marvel’s “The Defenders” will bring together the Marvel characters that we’ve met in their own Netflix series. They include Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and later this year Luke Cage and Iron Fist. The first teaser trailer, seen above, was just debuted at Comic-Con in San Diego, California.

While the character crossover isn’t new, it will be great to see yet another set of Marvel “heroes” come together to fight on the streaming service. And because it is on Netflix, it will be great to see the darker, more mature side of the Marvel Universe that we’ve already seen in the preceding series come together.

“The Defenders” are set to debut in 2017 exclusively on Netflix.
