Old-Fashioned Storytelling.

Do you remember being told bedtime stories when you were younger? Do you remember what that felt like? Probably not since these stories were helpful for you in getting to sleep, but they did prove to be magical nonetheless.

Fast forward to today (and out of bed) and you get storytelling the way it was when you were younger by a real storyteller. One of the coolest and most fun feature of the newly opened Fantasy Faire area at Disneyland is what’s housed inside the Royal Theater.

There you’ll find an medieval theater with wooden benches and a stage where some of your favorite Disney fairy tale stories will be told with live actors, a enthusiastic narrator, and a simple live piano score. Currently, the two stories of Rapunzel from “Tangled” and Belle from “Beauty And The Beast are being performed in the theater and each one not only brings the magic of Disney storytelling to life, but brings it to the heart through talented performers.

They certainly aren’t bedtime stories, but we find that the last thing you’ll be doing in the Royal Theater is falling asleep. Take a look at the video and go see both shows to see what we mean.
