OPEN, OPEN, OPENED

For those who have been sleeping a lot like Sleeping Beauty, we just wanted to inform you that the new, re-imagined Disney California Adventure Park is NOW OPEN!

It’s complete with Cars Land, the new entryway Buena Vista Street, and NO MORE CONSTRUCTION WALLS. Yup, you heard right. No more walls.

Take a look at the video above to see the celebration and crowd-craziness that kicked off the grand re-opening last Friday, June 15. Disney fans lined up the night before to be among the first to see the new things that took 5 years and $1.1 billion to move from imagination to reality.

We’re working hard to finish up our Wrap-up report of all the things that went down during the three-day press event DisneyExaminer was invited to leading up to the grand re-opening. It’ll include lots of photos and video of Cars Land, Buena Vista Street, and DCA without walls. Yup. No walls included.
