People are loving the new Fantasmic! at Disneyland Park

Those who were fortunate enough to attend the Disney Parks and Resorts presentation at the D23 Expo received a little more than posters after it was done. They also got reserved viewing for the new version of Fantasmic! at Disneyland park!

While the re-imagined show was set to debut to the public next Monday, fans were given an early look on Saturday, July 15, at the entire show that was on hiatus for over a year. In that time, Imagineers worked to bring guests a new show that was still grounded in what made the original a generational fan favorite.

New technologies like improved mist screens, state-of-the-art HD projectors, new lighting, and other special effects were installed and tested right up until the day of the first preview show which ultimately was for those lucky Expo attendees.

And those attendees didn’t remain quiet during and after the first of two preview performances that night. Comments on social media were overwhelmingly positive with things being said like “The new Fantasmic is 100x better…” and “It’s like coming home and being hugged by a loved one…”
