People are reacting very negatively to Frozen replacing Aladdin musical at Disneyland
Late this evening, Disney announced “Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular” will close on January 10, 2016 at Disney California Adventure park to make way for a new stage production revolving around Disney’s “Frozen”. According to the post, the “Frozen” show will “immerse [fans] in the world of ‘Frozen’ as never before, with elaborate costumes and sets, stunning specials effects and surprising scenic transformations.”
People on Twitter were not as excited that winter is coming.

I'm inconsolable. #Aladdin #HyperionTheater #DCA

Btw I'm so disappointed in @Disneyland changing the Aladdin show to frozen ? the Aladdin show is a classic, I love the genie.

Twitter User, @Christelle, also brought up one of the important things about this change:
I wonder/hope the show that replaces #Aladdin will have a cast that's just as beautiful and diverse and representative of its audience.

Meanwhile, others didn’t let the cold bother them as much.
I'm actually excited for the #Frozen musical. Bye Aladdin ??

Some even had some interesting alternatives to a different show besides “Frozen”.
All for a new show but #Frozen , really?! What about the classics? #BeautyAndTheBeast had my vote ?#DCA #Aladdin https://t.co/Bqo4DXtxmA

@eelyak @DisneyExaminer I was still rooting for either a Tangled or Princess and the Frog show if Aladdin ever had to leave.

If you're going to put another #frozen show in DCA can we at least have Belle/Rapunzel back at the Royal Theatre? #Disney

This was the third time that Disney has announced the closing of the “Aladdin” musical at the California theme park. Each attempt at replacing the show with first a “Tangled” musical then a “Toy Story” musical was met with the same negativity we’re seeing today. It’ll be interesting to see how Disney reacts this time around.
Should Disney follow through with the “Frozen” show, the countdown for Aladdin and friends begins. Like many of those Twitter users, be sure to catch one last magic carpet ride to Agrabah and watch the show before they migrate away from the cold.
