45 Years Of “Yo-Ho”

TODAY is the 45th Anniversary of the ORIGINAL Pirates of the Caribbean attraction at Disneyland! It opened on this day, March 18, 1967.

Folks, you got to remember that THIS attraction started the movie franchise. This attraction was the LAST attraction that Walt Disney oversaw himself. This attraction has some of the most outdated audio-animatronics. This attraction is slow.

And yet we still love her, don’t we? We do, ye buccaneers! She is still a treasure to us.
