Pixar’s “Party Central” to show in front of “Muppets Most Wanted”

Party animals are one thing, but party monsters are the thing we’re “eye-ing” this year. As last year’s D23 Expo, we were shown the new full animated short created by Pixar that had us actually cheering for college frat parties.

Party Central” in taking its cue from the last great Pixar film “Monsters University” where the Mike, Sulley, and their buddies at Oozma Kappa try to make one of their dull frat parties a little bit more lively and fun. What they come up with is seriously the funniest Pixar short that we’ve ever seen and we’re sure that you’ll agree with us once you see it in front of this year’s other funny “Muppets Most Wanted” due out March 21, 2014.

The short, directed by “Monsters University” story supervisor Kelsey Mann was originally going to just be a bonus feature when “Monsters University” came out for home entertainment, but Disney decided to give it more of a spotlight due to its overwhelming reception with select audiences (like us) who got to see the short early.
