Post a picture of yourself in your favorite Marvel super hero pose and you’ll donate to charity

Giving back has always been a big thing for super heroes in movies, including those from Marvel. The cool thing with people like Iron Man, Captain America, and now Doctor Strange is that their human counterparts are legitimately passionate about giving back, too.

That’s why Marvel Studios decided to create Hero Acts. Being inspired by the cool things that Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, and more of the Marvel actors including newcomer Benedict Cumberbatch do by visiting hospitals of sick children to donating money to worthy causes, Marvel Studios now invites us to do the same.

They know that we can’t give back in the same ways these actors do, so they made it really easy for us to do so: posting a photo to social media. More specifically, a photo of you in your favorite Marvel super hero pose.

Your simple efforts would then be made super and heroic because for each photo that gets posted, Marvel Studios will donate $5 up to $1,000,000 to Save the Children, the long-standing global children’s charity.

Doing the math, that’s just 200,000 photos and based off the amazing poses (and costumes) that we’ve seen at conventions year after year, it shouldn’t take long for us to get there.

Head on over the official website for more detailed information. Don’t forget to post your photo with the hashtags #heroacts and #marvelstudios!
