Rabbit Hole or Time Machine?

As most of you know, ElecTRONica, the nighttime entertainment “club” has left the grid and is longer in Disney California Adventure, but another kind of entertainment has taken its place and its something quite out of the ordinary…

Beginning next week for a series of “soft shows” on May 25th, The Mad T-Party has certainly brought about a lot of questions and comments that stretch both sides who like the idea and those who do not.

Disney recently announced more of the story that is to be told at this new nighttime experience which will mimic everything elecTRONica had, including a bar, dancing and music, and various other forms of entertainment. One of those things happens to be the rabbit hole.

As this new experience hails from the story of Alice in Wonderland specifically her trip to see the Mad Hatter and join his crazy tea party, the rabbit hole (pictured above) will be the entrance to this new experience.

To make it more “club”-esce, two rather different versions of Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum (also pictured above) will act as the nightclub guards asking for a password to enter. By the looks of their outfits, this is certainly going to be a crazy party…and that’s where we stand.

We are really not expecting that much from this nighttime event. The concept art that was given to us of the characters and sets all rather look pretty scary. We don’t know what type of guests would like this because we don’t know what to expect.

That being said, we aren’t going to say much right now. We look forward to experiencing it when the rabbit hole opens on May 25…
