Remy’s Ride.

It has been 7 years since we first met Remy the rat on the suburbs and streets of Paris and after having seen his culinary journey with Linguini on the Big Screen, the tale of “Anyone can cook” dug deep into our tastebuds and hearts. Since then, we haven’t heard much Remy, but now he has re-emerged at Disneyland Paris Resort!

Just this past week, Disney Parks and Resorts unveiled their newest creation – a recreation of Paris as seen from Remy’s little eyes. The new Ratatouille-themed area of the park will feature a new table service restaurant (Bistrot Chez Rémy which will serve the delicious “peasant’s dish”) and a new attraction that’ll immerse guests into the story of “Ratatouille” itself.

L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy will be a ride-through attraction that’ll shrink guests to the size of the Little Chef as he and his family of rats traverse the larger-than-life obstacles of Gusteau’s kitchen and dining room as they allude the villainous Chef Skinner.

Details are still very scarce on what the attraction will actually be like, but Imagineers have made sure to let us know that it’ll utilize state-of-the-art projection and simulator technology. The soundtrack for the attraction is being created by the film’s same composer Michael Giacchino.

Take a look at the video teaser of the new attraction and land in the video above. The ride and the rest of the new additions is set to open this Summer!
