Reach For The Stars – Neil Armstrong [1930-2012]
We mourn the loss of an American icon today.
Astronaut Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon, passed away today with his family by his side. He was 82.
On July 15, 2005, he was awarded a plaque and was invited to take a ride on the inaugural flight of the re-launching of Space Mountain at Disneyland Park.
The plaque said:
“Presented to Mr. Neil Armstrong for his courage and adventurous spirit that continues to inspire all mankind to reach for the stars.”
And might we add “…even to this day.”
