UPDATE 5/7/12 – We had a blast at the Ghirardelli Grand Opening event this morning in Disney California Adventure Park! Special thanks to all of you who followed us through Facebook and Twitter! We posted some pictures from the event there for you all to enjoy, but we rather you all go down to DCA and try a Ghirardelli Chocolate Sundae yourself – it’s now open to you!

We’ll have a full Wrap-up report on this morning’s event + a special trip we took to the La Brea Bakery later on this weekend! Thanks for joining us!

You’ll want to wake up, get out of bed, grab your nearest chocolate bar and join us as we bring you the grand opening ceremony of the latest Ghirardelli flagship shop!

We’ll be joined by the likes of Disneyland Resort President George Kalogridis, DCA Vice President Mary Niven, President and CEO of Ghirardelli Martin Thompson, and other special guests for the ceremony and then head inside to eat ice cream and other sweets that will be offered at the location in the Pacific Wharf area of the new, re-imagined Disney California Adventure Park!
