Rollin’ in Style Down Buena Vista Street

Disney California Adventure has finally finished its 5 year expansion. One of the crowning achievements is Buena Vista Street, which is the new entryway into the new, re-imagined Disney California Adventure Park! With an older era street, its only fitting that its given a set of “old” wheels to give the new look of Buena Vista Street its credibility.

As guests enter, be sure to take a look at the inconspicuous car parked to the left next to Oswald’s Gas Station. It is a 1937 Packard Coupe and back in the 1930s, this car was known only to be driven by upper class folk. Imagineers were able to find and restore one and now its proudly on display on Buena Vista Street.

Imagineers even got to push it down Buena Vista Street to its permanent parking place just before June 15 and DCA’s grand re-opening. Check out the video above to see how they did it!

Fun Fact – This Packward was the exact same model that debuted the same year as “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” debuted at the Carthay Circle Theater!
