Rudy Runs (With Wings).

For those of you old enough to have seen the movie “Rudy.” then you’ll notice in the video above that Rudy himself made his way to the Disneyland Resort last week.

Rudy, or Sam Gamgee, or Sean Astin (his real name) was at the Resort to take part in the Tinker Bell Half Marathon! Yes folks, he traded in his football gear for some Tinker Bell wings, and there’s NOTHING wrong with that at all!

As you’ll hear from Sean in the video, the run means a lot more than just running. It means being a hero for all the girls in his family including his wife and little girls. It also means that he can accomplish that by having fun!

We, like Sean, couldn’t agree more and can’t wait for the fun that will be had once more at the next runDisney event during the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend in August!
