Say Howdy To A New Jamboree

Entertainment is big at Disneyland. That’s no sarcasm folks, because Disney pulling out all the stops this summer with new experiences that guests get to enjoy aside from the new attractions in Cars Land and such.

Just recently, Disneyland announced that they will be returning the gone-but-not- forgotten Festival Arena Area tucked away near Big Thunder Ranch (where they use to have the Hunchback of Notre Dame shows). The area will now be used for the appropriately themed “Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree.”

Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday beginning on Thursday, May 3, you’ll be able to dance, craft, and pin trade to some of our country favorites. There will also be your favorite Disney characters dressed in their western best for meet and greets.

They have also announced that this new stage area will also be the new home of any school bands performing at Disneyland as part of the Disney Performing Arts Days, since the old venue in Carnation Gardens will be demolished for no-fair Fantasy Faire.
