Shanghai Disney Resort to hold 4-day recruitment event

With construction of Shanghai Disney Resort nearing completion, the attention now turns to “casting” the people who will become part of the show. Disney’s cast members and their signature service will be a staple to the new Chinese resort and will begin the search for those new cast members at a 4-day recruitment event.

Although the multi-day recruitment event is open to the public, Disney has already identified what is looking for in its future cast.

“We are seeking to attract local talent from Shanghai and across China who are interested in the tourism and service industry and who are driven by a passion for excellence to join us in creating a world-class family vacation destination in China,” said Lara Tiam, Vice President, Human Resources at Shanghai Disney Resort. “We are also committed to providing in-depth onboarding and on-job training programs for our cast to help cultivate local talent and support the overall development of the service industry.”
