Sparky Art
Earlier last month, we were able to attend an extended preview of the special art exhibition centered around the upcoming Disney film about a boy and his dead dog. But it’s more than that.
The making of this film was a piece of art, folks! It was made with stop motion photography, which means that artisans made all the mini figurines and sets to create the whole movie! In the Art of Frankenweenie Exhibition currently in Disney California Adventure Park, you will see those figurines and sets and get a total grasp on what this film is all about. In addition to the excellent art exhibition, you’ll also be able to see an 8 minute preview of the film in Hollywood Land and ultimately see why this movie is so much more than a boy and his dead dog, but of man’s best friend.
We highly recommend taking some time the next time you’re at DCA to visit this art exhibition as well as watching the extended preview of the film. Don’t think that because its a Tim Burton movie that it’ll just be weird. You’ll be pleasantly surprised how comedic and heartfelt this movie can be.
Be sure to check out our Facebook and Twitter Pages for more pictures from our extended preview!
‘Frankenweenie’ is in theaters now, but be sure to get to the art exhibition! It leaves in Novemeber.
