Take an exclusive video tour of the new Walt Disney Animation Studios

If you’ve been to the Walt Disney Studios lot in Burbank, you probably wouldn’t miss the Walt Disney Animation Studios. You can’t miss it – it’s the only building that has Mickey’s sorcerer hat on top of it!

The studios, which sit inside the Roy E. Disney Animation Building, opened in November 1994 and gave a new, bigger space for Disney’s feature animation teams to work. Since then, the teams got bigger and became increasingly separated because of the way the original building was designed.

So that’s why in early 2016, Disney began a total makeover of the building that would give the animation team more open space to work (and play).

Renovations were completed earlier this year and our friends at the Walt Disney Animation Studios graciously open their doors for our cameras to give you all an exclusive tour of their new space.
