The Carnation Will Bloom Once Again

The Carnation Cafe at Disneyland Park is just another one of those small yet intimate places of Main Street USA where guests can just grab a bite. Moreover, this place has a lot of Disney history to it!

Sure it holds the cuisine of a longest serving Cast Member named Oscar (who makes the best breakfast potatoes, by the way), but Walt Disney even took the time to dine there as well and had his favorite thing to order!

Now that says a lot about this restaurant and now you’ll have the opportunity to discover or rediscover for the first time a Disneyland treasure that’s worth its weight in delicious goodness.

Disneyland has announced that they will be re-opening the famous Carnation Cafe on June 13! The new cafe will include an expanded outdoor seating area, as well as more seating indoors (just like when it had when it originally opened)!

In addition to the new seating areas, Chef Oscar and his team will be serving up classics like his famous breakfast that includes his yummy breakfast potatoes, as well as some of Walt’s favorites like beef and pork meatloaf! There will also be some new menu items like the ones pictured above – huevos ranchero with corn tortillas and the green chile cheeseburger.

For the kids, the Cafe will be serving some chicken fried chicken and veggies or a burger/mac & cheese with fresh fruit. Still yummy to us!

The Carnation Cafe will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and will require reservations still! Reservations may be made right now by calling the Disney Dine Line (714-781-DINE or 3463) or emailing dining reservation requests to [email protected].
