“The Little Mermaid” live in concert will feature Sara Bareilles, Darren Criss, Rebel Wilson, and John Stamos

For one night only, on June 4th, 2016, you’ll be able to watch The Little Mermaid at the Hollywood Bowl live in concert starring some of your favorite musical guests.

The show is reported to open with Alan Menken, composer of the original film’s iconic soundtrack, playing a medley of his songs from from Beauty And The Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas, Newsies, Enchanted, and Tangled. The concert will then be played alongside a 71-piece live orchestra!

Of course a concert like this would be nothing without its stars – Sara Bareilles is set to play Ariel alongside Darren Criss as Prince Eric. Rebel Wilson is to play Ursula, Tituss Burgess as Sebastian, and John Stamos as Chef Louie, among other famed musical guests.

Besides the well-loved original songs from the film, Menken says that the show will also feature other songs from the Broadway play such as “Her Voice”, sung by Prince Eric. Menken comments, “seeing the material from the movie wedded to the Broadway show will be incredible.”

Catch The Little Mermaid, live in concert this summer! Tickets will be available Saturday, April 9 at 10 AM Pacific Time on Ticketmaster’s website.
