TRON-core In A CineTransformer

We at DisneyExaminer like TRON. Disney put out an awesome sequel to the original movie in 2010, along with the nighttime entertainment of elecTRONica at Disney California Adventure, and now they’ve decided to push out the grid on to the small screen that is your television set.

TRON: Uprising will be a new animated series on the ‘Disney XD’ cable channel which will debut on June 7 at 9 PM PST. The series will follow a young programmer named Beck who will ultimately try and defeat the corrupted Clu from the TRON movies past.

Sound interesting? You might want to head down to Downtown Disney in Anaheim and step inside the CineTransformer. What? Yes – the CineTransformer!

It’s basically a big rig truck that was converted into a mobile movie theater. It contains plush seats that can accomodate 90 guests comfortably and state-of-the-art projection and sound system. This theater alone should get you to watch the extended preview of TRON: Uprising that will be showing inside.

Cost? None. It’s free! The CineTransformer is currently at the Downtown Disney District in Anaheim and will continue showing TRON: Uprising until June 7.
