Virtual (reality).
We all understand that Disney makes some awesome guest experiences and they pull it off right from the start (usually). But how do they know whatever they’ll create will be a hit? It’s all in the DISH.
The DISH, or Digital Immersive Showroom has been a tool that Walt Disney Imagineers have used, more recently for Cars Land, to make sure that all the small details and problems are resolved before any guests are able to experience that story when projects are completed. By being able to “walkthrough” the imagination and story process, they are able to achieve perfection every time.
Check out the video to see the DISH in action! I’m still all for the real thing. June 15 must come faster.
