Watch the new “The Force Awakens” scene coming to Star Tours

The Star Wars promo is coming to Disneyland park on November 16 and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, with an official start day on December 1 announced just today. Hidden behind that announcement today was the first look at the new scene that will be coming to both Star Tours: The Adventures Continue attractions on both coasts.

The scene, teased in the video above, shows us fleeing with the Millennium Falcon from TIE Fighters. It looks like the planet the action takes place on also is the same desert planet we saw in the already released The Force Awakens trailers: Jakku.

While the video doesn’t provide any dialogue that C-3P0 will say while piloting you through to safety, we expect that the scene (which you may not even get the times you ride the attraction because of the existing random scene generator) will give us just enough tease to go and watch the film.

Additionally, Disney also gave more details of the rest of the Season of the Force offerings.

Star Wars: Path of the Jedi is the name of the film experience that will give guests a crash course in what Star Wars is all about with pivotal scenes from each of the 6 episodes.

However if you listened to our latest Podcast episode, you’d be the first to hear that footage from The Force Awakens will then be added to the show after the film releases on December 18!

Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple will be the new name of the Jedi Training Academy coming to both parks. As the story goes, “this reimagined Jedi Training experience will take younglings to the secret site of an ancient Jedi temple where they will face Darth Vader along with the Seventh Sister – a new villain from the Disney XD series “Star Wars Rebels.”

All this including the Star Wars Launch Bay experience and Hyperspace Mountain is all an effort to push you all to watch the film and be in place to already prime the fact that Star Wars-themed land is coming, too. Is Disney’s galactic Star Wars marketing luring you?

You’re not alone. It’s all calling to you – just let it in.
