What’s wrong with Disney fans? Some say that they complain the most

Disney’s fans are arguably some of the most passionate fans in the world. They feel so closely tied to the brand and its products that it can be pretty rewarding if you’re part of the teams creating those things. Conversely, the moment you upset these fans, Disney can have throngs of pitchfork-wielding people to deal with.

As Ryan Fratzke in his podcast points out, a Disney fan’s connection to the Company can be “too serious” to the point of turning that passion into annoying complaint.

Late last year, a column in the OC Register pointed out a similar argument regarding Disney fans and their passionate complaining, but recognized that not all Disney fans are at the same level of passion and therefore a varying level of complaints.
