YouTube Disney covers that you need to listen to ASAP!

Music has been a key element in the success of many Disney movies. As Disney fans we all love the great music featured in these films, and can’t help but be inspired by it. Here’s a list of ten YouTube Disney covers that will blow your mind! These artists are some of the best at using Disney’s famous songs and turning them into their own. Introducing, the talented YouTube artists that have created the most magical Disney song covers to date!

Alex G and Peter Hollins “Disney Medley”

In their “Disney Medley” collaboration, this duo takes Disney a cappella to a whole new level. Their song transitions are seamless, and their voices compliment each other perfectly throughout this incredible music video. These two also traveled to different locations to match the geography from the movies, which each song was featured in. Their videography combined with beautiful voices makes this cover a must see for anybody looking for a cool new take on Disney classics.

Alex Boye Featuring One Voice Children’s Choir “Let It Go”

Boye’s African tribal cover of “Let It Go” creates a completely different experience from the original version. In addition to the African language, the tribal drums added makes this cover very unique and powerful. The One Voice Children’s Choir is really the icing on the cake to this brilliant rendition of the song, creating a melody that may bring tears to your eyes. In this video they dressed up as the characters from Frozen, and ran around at what looked like an ice labyrinth aka the “coolest” set ever! Lexi Walker is the lead singer who was just 11-years-old when making this cover. After hearing her incredible voice I can tell that she will have a bright future ahead of her.

Lara and Jonathan “Under the Sea”

This rendition of “Under the Sea” blew my mind when I watched it. I know some people may be disappointed that they don’t actually sing the lyrics but check out the mastery that these two have with the piano. The melody is just flawless, and they are the envy of all aspiring piano players out there. “Under the Sea” is one of the greatest Disney classics of all time and Lara and Jonathan definitely did it justice in their own unique way.

Roxy Darr “Colors of the Wind”

Roxy Darr is an all-star in the YouTube world, and has many fantastic renditions of the classic Disney tunes. Hands down, my favorite of all her Disney covers is the classic “Colors of the Wind” sung in  Pocahontas. Her voice is so powerful when it needs to be yet she can control it on so many levels. She is an amazing talent, and her backgrounds in this video are always on point. Roxy Darr is so popular in the Disney cover world that she was invited to perform at the 2015 D23 Expo!

Brian Hull “Hakuna Matata”

Brian Hull is a master of impressions, he not only speaks in Disney characters’ voices, but he can also sing in them as well! Who ever would have imagined that we would hear a rendition of “Hakuna Matata” by Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, and Eeyore? Check out his channel for more crazy impressions of characters singing. How does he make his voice do all those different sounds? The world may never know.

Georgia Merry “Disney Princess Medley”

Georgia Merry has you covered in the princess department with this incredible mash-up of our favorite songs sung by Disney princesses. Georgia Merry’s channel on YouTube lives and breathes Disney with a myriad of mash-ups from different Disney films. In each of her videos she really goes all out by dressing up to fit each character and synchronizing her voice… with herself! It is really incredible to watch her work, not to mention her voice is magical and she is able to sing many different songs in her unique style.

Nick Pitera “One Man Disney Movie”

This very talented YouTube artist can harmonize with his own voice, and has an endless vocal range. It is unreal how he can transform his voice to match any character he wants: male and female. From the voice of Scar from The Lion King to Jasmine in Aladdin, he can do it all flawlessly to create his own one man Disney movie. Nick Pitera puts a spin on each character in this video: acting like the princess, the villain, etc. He is a must-see not only for Disney fans, but everyone who appreciates pure musical talent!

Adventures of Brie “Friend Like Me”

Here is an interesting cover featuring a female version of the popular Aladdin song “Friend Like Me.” Brie brings a lot of her own personality to this song, and it really shows that she thoroughly enjoys making these covers. The costume changes, props, and special effects are also well done, even if it isn’t as fancy looking as some of the other YouTube covers. “Adventures of Brie” is a channel that you can easily get lost in with her beautiful renditions of Disney songs!

Taylor Davis “He’s a Pirate” Violin Cover

The second instrumental cover goes to Taylor Davis, and her stunning pirate costume. The violin is one of the hardest instruments to master, but when someone masters it it’s just pure magic. The Pirates of the Caribbean theme song has a special place in all of our hearts, and Taylor plays a superb cover of it. This cover is epic as she plays the violin on the ocean shores. You get a sense of longing and adventure as you watch her do what she does best!

Gardiner Sisters “Disney Medley”

These six talented sisters own these Disney classic songs with their unique voices. It is obvious that these girls have a blast in all of their videos, which makes them a fun music group to follow. Not only are they entertaining to watch, but they also put in the effort to scout locations and find exciting places to shoot their videos. The harmonization that these girls have is something really special that not many people can do. Their channel is full of fun covers, original songs, and silly videos that will make anyone smile. The future looks bright for the Gardiner Sisters!

The songs featured in Disney films are ones that we grew up with and still listen to. These famous songs inspire us in so many ways, with YouTube Disney covers being one of them. As Disney continues to feature more popular songs in their movies, it’s safe to say that there will be plenty of YouTube Disney covers to come!
