New news about Cars Land is coming into our newsroom faster than opening day…or at least it feels like it. In any case, Disney just keeps teasing us with more details today including the street entertainment that will take place within the Land. It wouldn’t be a Disney-land if they didn’t have street entertainment, right?

In the pictures above, you’ll see two new street shows that will inhabit Route 66 straight down Radiator Springs – “Red To The Rescue” and “DJ’s Dance And Drive.”

*In “Red To The Rescue,” guests will be able to interact with Red – the big, emotional, and protective (of his flowers) firetruck and attempt to water the area, so the story goes. The area also means you, folks.

*In “DJ’s Dance And Drive,” you’ll be able to go dancing in the street, literally and somewhat figuratively. It’s basically a flash mob of sorts where DJ – the disc-changing street car from the movie will drive up and play tunes for you, but most likely just the cast of the show, get to dance to some familiar car-themed tunes like “Car Wash” and “Life In The Fast Lane.”

We’re hoping the stories of both get a little more developed, but we’re still excited to see a life-sized DJ and Red join Lightning McQueen and Mater in the newDCA beginning June 15!
