A Disney Parks’ Cast Member Medal Of Honor.

Disney Parks wouldn’t be the same without the many cast members who work hard to make sure every guests’ experience is magical. What’s more is that many cast members have been working to make those magical experiences for a better portion of their lifetime, so it was only fitting that they be recognized.

Disney rewards these hard-working cast members by giving them special pins indicating the number of years they’ve worked for their respective resort. Each pin is specially crafted noting the number of years that cast member has worked to making dreams come true!

In addition to the year pins, special blue name tags are also given to cast members who are nominated and win a Walt Disney Legacy Award, recognizing an employee’s efforts of keeping Walt Disney’s legacy of service and leadership alive.

DisneyDose.com has created this informative infographic below showing all the possible pins and the legacy name tag a cast member can earn.

So next time you see a cast member on your next visit to a Disney Park, check to see what kind of pin or badge they’re wearing and thank them for their hard work to make you happy – they’ll be happy you noticed!
