Google planted a whole bunch of Star Wars Easter Eggs on its site.

Aside from being a search engine, Google is just a fun site to be on. One of my favorite things about the search engine site is that there are Easter Eggs aka hidden functions that appear from time to time. They range in complexity from one that had computer programers code for a chance at a job interview at the tech giant to the fun things like having your search results do a barrel role.

The fun Easter Eggs continue with the release of the ones created for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. By visiting Google’s newly created subsite, users can choose either between the Dark Side or the Light Side.

From there, every Google product that you use will be tailored to the side you choose with the help of the Force. For example, when you type in “a long time ago in a galaxy far far away” into the Google Search field, your search results are presented in the iconic Star Wars crawl opening credits!

Other Easter Eggs include a lightsaber loading bar for Gmail and the appearance of an X-Wing icon as your locator within Google Maps. Even more Easter Eggs will be added between now and Episode 7’s release day on December 18.

Be sure to check out the other Google products you use like Google Calendar, Google Translate, Chrome, Waze, and YouTube for even more hidden features. You might need to awaken the Force within though before you do.
