Our dear Disney Company has a lot of cheese. Mickey Mouse and CEO Bob Iger share in that cheese, but there’s so much more than that, folks! There really is a guy who KNOWS his cheese who might as well be called the ‘big cheese’. His name is Michael Cox.
He was recently named a ‘Certified Cheese Professional’ after passing a test given by the American Cheese Society. Yes, this does exist! He was tested on the taste of a variety of different cheeses, as well as how the cheeses were made, how cheese is stored, and how the cheese has to be handled when serving.
As you could imagine, this guy knows what cheese would work best in different foods and drinks. We’ll certainly be down to pay him a visit and enjoy any cheese offerings he will present us with. You too should also come down and visit him ONLY at the Napa Rose restaurant at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel.
