See Darth Vader go Force Friday shopping

Just like most Target shoppers, you usually go in for one particular item and then end up with a loot full of glorious random necessities. Darth Vader had the same issue on Force Friday! On September 4, the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens products were shelved around the world. Fans scrambled to see which location was hosting a Force Friday event to shop at. I attended the Target store in Orange. As guests used The Force to open the doors of Target at midnight, I hung out with a few of my friends to do a little shopping before the madness began. And when I said my friends, of course I meant Clone Commander Wolffe, Clone Trooper Sinker, Death Star Gunner, Kanan Jarrus, and my homie Darth Vader.

A line of people formed around the building as fans waited to get their hands on the remote control BB-8, Kylo Ren’s crossguard lightsaber, Hasbro Rey and her Speeder, The First Order Stormtrooper action figure, Poe Dameron POP! figurine, or the Finn (Jakku) Black Series action figure. The list goes on and on with the exclusive memorabilia that Target stores had to offer on Force Friday. Darth Vader got to check out some of the other Star Wars products that Target was originally selling like Star Wars boxers, Vader Pajama onesies, and Star Wars Rebels on Blu-ray. Even though he has no problem force-choking you if you disobey him, Darth has a sensitive side. You can see this as he admires the Cinderella line of Disney dresses and Disney Princess Palace stuffed animals.

Stoomtroopers, Shadow Scouts, and Biker Scouts searched through the aisles and were happy to go home with their favorite collectibles. Darth Vader hopped in his TIE Fighter Advanced and went home to catch some Z’s after a long night of shopping.

Did you get any new products from Star Wars: The Force Awakens? We want to see them! Share them in the comment area below.
