Assemble again for bonus features! [Avengers: Age of Ultron Digital Review]

It’ll be another 3 years till we see another Avengers film from Marvel, but that doesn’t mean we have to go on living life without Earth’s Mightiest Heroes for that long! Avengers: Age of Ultron recently hit Blu-ray and Digital HD status and includes the full length feature film, as well as some bonus features.

Because bonus features are why we buy copies of movies anyway, right?

Right.

The Age of Ultron are certainly worthy your hard-earned dollars, too, with some great behind-the-scenes content! Here are a few of my favorites:

Gag Reel: Unless you’re Tony Stark, not every scene filmed for a movie is perfect. And since Tony is playing around with his fellow Avengers and an evil robotic guy named Ultron, you can expect a whole bunch of imperfection. The Gag Reel is nearly 4 minutes of that imperfect hilarity.

The Infinite Six: The whole Marvel Cinematic Universe revolves around six objects called Infinity Stones. They really have driven each Avengers film, as well as the individual hero films that have happened between them. If you haven’t noticed this fact, then you’d probably want to watch this featurette before (so, you know, you don’t get burned the next time you have to talk Marvel).

From The Inside Out: No, this is not a feature that includes Pixar’s latest film for your viewing pleasure. This reel is very much a great look at the making of Age of Ultron, from the story to shooting to completion. It’s not every day that you get to see what it takes to assemble a talented cast and crew to make a blockbuster superhero film!

Those extras are just some of my favorite bonus features included in the digital HD copy of the film. There’s a whole bunch more including the standard-but-very-entertaining deleted scenes and extended scenes that director Joss Whedon had to take out for the final cut.

If you’re that Marvel fan who wants to enjoy the Avengers before the next film in 2018, you’ll want to assemble yourselves (and your Marvel friends) and purchase the digital HD or Blu-ray copy of Avengers: Age of Ultron. It’ll help satisfy your Avengers fix.

Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron is now available to own on Blu-ray and Digital HD/Disney Movies Anywhere.

A special thanks to Walt Disney Home Entertainment for providing a copy of the film for our review!
