Top picks for Disney-inspired Halloween pet costumes

Ghosts, zombies, mummies, and witches—Halloween is a frightening time for scaredy-cats like me. This is why I use my pug puppy, Indiana Jones aka Indy, to ease my fears during the holiday. I dress him up in adorable outfits that make everyone say ‘Awww!’ instead of ‘Ahhh!’. Works every time! Indy has a collection of Disney characters that he loves. He is having some trouble deciding what to wear on the 31st. Examiners, help Indy pick his costume for his first Halloween.

Option #1: Crush from Finding Nemo

Remember, rip it, roll it, and punch it! Crush is a great costume for all the surfer dudes and dudettes in your life.

Find it: Top Paw @ PetSmart on sale for $4.37

Option #2: Jack Skellington from Nightmare Before Christmas

This is Halloween! The pumpkin king is always a go-to costume for the classical fans. Sandy Claws better watch out for Jack the pug.

Find it: Target on sale for $8.48

Option #3: Olaf from Frozen

Indy will freeze Orange County over with Olaf by his side. Just like his pal, Indy likes to give warm hugs, too!

Find it: Disney @ PetSmart on sale in stores only for $6.37

Option #4: Dinosaur from The Good Dinosaur

Since there is no costume for sale yet for the new film, set to hit theaters on Thanksgiving Day, get creative. Indy is super excited for The Good Dinosaur and is looking forward to seeing all of the new characters.

Find it: Animal Planet @ Target on sale for $6.09

Option #5: Darth Vader from Star Wars

Evil has never looked so cute. Indy has a dark side when he throws tantrums and rips up his toys. Darth Vader will not only rule the galaxy, but will also rule the dog park.

Find it: Disney @ Party City on sale for $16.99

Option #6: Party Pooper Pet Costume

Every party has a pooper and that pooper is you! If you are not entering the costume contest and just want to throw on your “This is My Costume” shirt, Indy loves this comfy black and orange striped tee. Perfect outfit for the pumpkin patch!

Find it: Target on sale in stores only for $9.99

Comment below, with your favorite pet costume and please share photos of your puppy friends dressed up!
